Chas Coutlee
REGISTERED MASTER SOCIAL WORKER
Welcome! My name is Chas, and I am a dedicated counselor with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Registered Social Worker (RSW) credentials. With a rich heritage that blends Indigenous and Irish roots, I bring a unique and deeply personal perspective to my practice.
Specializing in mental health, addictions, grief and loss, I am committed to decolonizing therapeutic practices and meeting you where you are at. My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and grounded in the principles of empathy, respect, and empowerment. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
I also have extensive experience working with families and communities affected by Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). This work has deepened my understanding of the complex layers of trauma and resilience, and I am dedicated to providing support that honors these experiences.
Whether you are navigating challenges related to mental health, seeking recovery from addictions, coping with grief and loss, or simply looking for someone to talk to, I am here to help. By integrating traditional Indigenous knowledge with contemporary therapeutic techniques, I offer a wholistic approach.
I invite you to take the first step towards healing and well-being. Together, we can work towards fostering resilience, hope, and a brighter future.
Please feel free to reach out to schedule an appointment or to learn more about my services. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
