JASON REMEDIOS
REGISTERED MASTER SOCIAL WORKER
As a first-generation immigrant, I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating identity and belonging from a young age. These experiences deeply influence my work as a therapist, where I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and inclusive space for all my clients. My journey has taught me the power of resilience, and I am passionate about helping individuals uncover their inner strengths and reclaim their sense of agency.
I work from an Empowerment and Strengths-Based framework, guided by an Anti-Oppressive and Critical Race lens, to ensure that my practice honours and respects the diverse identities and lived experiences of each person I support. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centred, always prioritizing your unique needs and goals.
Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with children, youth, and families in various settings, including community programs, mental health clinics, and BC Children’s Hospital. I have supported individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, mood disorders, crises, relational difficulties, identity formation, grief, loss, substance use, and other mental health concerns.
Whether we’re exploring difficult emotions, working through past trauma, or navigating life transitions, my goal is to walk alongside you, offering tools, guidance, and support to help you build a meaningful and fulfilling path forward.
