KATE K.
CLINICAL THERAPIST AND REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER (RSW)
I’m so glad you’re here and taking steps toward your well-being and personal growth. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel understood and empowered.
I am a Clinical Therapist and Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Based in Kelowna, BC, I offer adult counselling for individuals navigating anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, life transitions, and relational or sexual concerns. I believe the bond between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful therapy, and I work to build a connection where you feel comfortable and respected.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in both professional and lived experience. As someone who immigrated to Canada as a child, I understand the impact of cultural identity and transition, and I bring this perspective into my practice. I have also worked with diverse communities, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and Indigenous clients, and I remain committed to creating a space where all identities are welcomed and affirmed.
I am dedicated to providing respectful, relational care that honours each person’s unique journey. It would be a privilege to support you as you move toward healing and growth.
