Tansi/Hello! I am Jake Seaby Palmour: a father, partner, and community member who strives for trusting and supportive relationships with all clients. I was born in Amiskwaciwaskahikan (Edmonton, Treaty Six) to an English mom and Métis dad. I grew up on Syilx Okanagan Lands and have spent the last 20 years on these unceded Coast Salish Territories. My counselling practice combines a solution-focused orientation with anti-oppressive principles, and I view all human beings as the experts of their own lives. I centralize safety, communication, consent, and respect in every encounter. Many of the challenges I assist with are ones I have also experienced on my own journey. With me you heal on your terms.
