An EFAP your people will actually use.
An Indigenous-led Employee & Family Assistance Program for organizations whose people deserve more than a generic helpline: culturally safe counselling, navigation, and proactive wellness for employees and their families.
What's included
Counselling for employees & families
Short-term, solution-focused counselling delivered in person, by phone, or by video, available to employees and the people they live with.
Specific experience with First Nations Peoples
Your people can be matched with a counsellor from one of Canada's largest teams of Indigenous clinicians, bringing professional, educational, and lived experience supporting First Nations Peoples and communities.
Warm navigation
Help finding the right internal or community resource when someone needs more than counselling, with follow-up to make sure nothing falls through.
Sessions that don't leave people stranded
A set number of sessions, barrier-free
Every employee, and the family members in their household, can access [X] counselling sessions at no cost to them, with no doctor's note and no gatekeeping. Just support, when it's needed.
Continue with the same counsellor
When those sessions end, the relationship doesn't have to. Our counsellors are registered professionals covered by most major insurance companies, so employees can keep working with the same Indigenous counsellor through their extended health benefits or private pay.
No one is sent back to square one
Unlike a traditional EFAP that stops the moment the sessions run out, we build a bridge to ongoing care, so people keep healing with someone who already knows their story.
Care that fits your team, not the other way around.
We'll shape an EFAP around the size of your organization, the communities you serve, and the realities your people face, then report on uptake in a way that respects everyone's privacy.
Common questions
Do your counsellors have experience with First Nations Peoples?
Yes. We're home to one of Canada's largest teams of Indigenous counsellors, and many of our clinicians bring specific professional, educational, and lived experience supporting First Nations Peoples, so your employees can work with someone who genuinely understands their context.
Who is covered under our EFAP?
Coverage is defined with you, but typically includes employees and the family members in their household. We'll set the scope together so it fits your organization.
How quickly can someone be seen?
We prioritise timely access. During onboarding we agree on response targets so your people know what to expect when they reach out.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Counselling is confidential. Organizational reporting is limited to aggregate, de-identified information so we can show value without compromising anyone's privacy.
